Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for California Only

I will only do these if both parents and the district are in agreement on the need for an IEE, to bring clarity to areas of suspected disability and identify the needs of a student. In California, and IEE can be gotten for free through one of three Diagnostic Centers run by the California Department of Education , State Special Schools and Services Division. I encourage you to exhaust free options before coming to me. They often have a waiting list, but you may get lucky.

There is no set fee for an IEE, as each child is different, and the time and expense it may take will be negotiated ahead of time, with a maximum cost not to exceed agreed upon.
